German Apple Pancake

First time made this German apple pancake. I like this pancake coz it fully topped with sliced apple and ground cinnamon and it is a perfect combanation with apple. The cinnamon aroma is full in the house. Hehe..
And it is very easy and simple ingredients to make. You can taste it in less than 1 hours.

Yum.. Yum

German Apple Pancake

Ingredients: (2 x 9inch round pan)
4 Eggs, lightly beaten

¾ cup flour (no need to sift)
¾ cup milk
pinch of salt
¼ cup unsalted butter (or margarine - if you think it's safer)
2 medium apples - peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
¼ cup unbleached sugar
ground cinnamon (to your personal taste)

Methods:
1. Heat the oven to 200C/390F. Place 2 x 9 inch round cake pans in the oven. Beat together thoroughly - the eggs, flour, milk, and salt. Make sure all ingredients well blended and lump free.

2. Remove the heated pans from the oven. Place 2 tablespoons of butter in each pan and rotate until butter is melted and distributed around all sides of the pan.
3. Layer the apple slices on the bottom of each pan. Gently pour the pancake batter evenly between the two pans.
4. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar mixture over each pan.
5. Bake uncovered until golden brown and puffed. Approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
